Some tombstone donors.

Grave yards are currently Blinkcrafts 'respawn area'. When a player is killed or slain by a monster instead of going directly to spawn the player will spawn near the closest graveyard to that area. This effectively eliminates spawn camping. Although there is some speculation about whether or not this diffuses PvP or not and the idea is still currently in Beta.

Tomb-Stones[]

The tomb-stones that are found at the graveyards have the names of people who have purchased a tomb-stone. Right under there name they get to chose what they want to pick for a caption (See below for an example). Tomb-Stones do not go towards your total donated amount. They are just for show if you want to help the server out :D. Information is unavailable as to whether or not tombstones will hold items.

Tomb-Stones V6 (1.6)[]

Tomb-Stones back in version 6 (1.6) actually contained random items inside them and a story book. If all Tomb-Stones were purchased and if the books were placed together they completed the lore series of "The Lightbringer". Only about half of all the tombstones in the server had been purchased and only half of the story was recovered.

UPDATE V8: In the mob arena "The Obsidian Mansion" one of the tombstones contains an R.I.P The Lightbringer. For anyone that was really interested in The Lightbringer lore series might find it a little easter egg :P. Under the R.I.P there is a quote saying "May light shine your path my friend".
